The new moon is here on Sunday/Monday in Pisces. Pisces is the 12th astrological sign before we enter the astrological new year. This new moon is the perfect time to reflect on the past 11 astrological months and set intentions for the next month (and the new astrological year, if you believe in it).
Pisces energy holds space for us to integrate and process everything we have learned in the previous eleven Sun seasons. This new moon and this month pay attention and observe your reactions, your patterns and your emotions. Slow down and observe; be present with yourself.
What made you become the person you are today and who are you today?
Take the time to reflect before reacting this new moon. You can choose to act differently and not to let your patterns get the best of you. Slow down and observe. Every time you decide to act against your patterns, you are making a shift in your being.
Reflection:
How much do you observe yourself?
How much do you observe the environment around you?
How much do you observe the people in your life?
What can you do to become an observer in your life?
Love is in the details.
Is it easy for you to slow down?
How does it feel when you are resting and relaxing?
What does your mind tell you?
What can you do to help yourself slow down?
Let the magic of the new moon guide you. The more I read about Pisces, the more I understand how Pisces reminds us how we are one with each other and with the Universe. We are also one with our dreams. Everything we want is already ours; we just got to believe and live in that energy. Some calls this ‘fake it until you make it. Follow your biggest guide: your intuition, your gut or your heart (whatever you refer to).
I often hear people say how hard it is to listen to our intuition and that they do not know what they need to do. Let me tell you it is not hard to listen to your intuition. The only challenge is you need to learn to quiet your mind (your monkey mind). That’s it (lol) But do this and you are set for life. Your intuition will shine through so brightly that you won't be able to ignore it.
You feel it deep inside you, you'll know it and you’ll recognize it. It also becomes easier to recognize when you become aware of your emotional reactions. As your emotional reactions are part of the patterns that you need to ultimately heal and break. When you are in your reactive state, it can be more challenging to hear your inner knowledge. During your intention setting, do the moon meditation and/or yoga or breath work. Slow down and observe. If your mind starts to wander, bring your attention back to your breath and the present moment. Receive the information that your intuition and the Universe are telling you.
Reflections:
Do you hear your intuition?
What does it feel like?
Do you take it into consideration when taking decisions?
What can you do to trust it more?
Now, imagine. I mentioned dreams earlier and how you are already living your dreams. Be inspired and be creative. This moon is to Daydream, but not anxious daydreaming or obsessive thoughts. Feel your dreams coming true. Whatever your dream may be: your business flourishing, your healthiest body, meeting your loved one, finally meeting your long distance boyfriend, friend or family, your solo trip, your published book. Whatever it may be, feel it and surround yourself in that energy.
Reflection:
Feel a resistance? What is it?
Which part of your body feels that resistance?
What’s the worst thing that can happen if you go for your dream?
What’s the best outcome that can happen if you go for your dream?
Any other outcome you are thinking?
On a scale of 1-10, how likely is it for the worst possible outcome to occur?
Based on the above likelihood, how rational or irrational is your resistance?
This resistance is the first key to finding the barriers that prevent your dreams from becoming a reality.
What can you do to align your actions to your dreams?
I want you to think of a small step. It can be as small as finding your workout clothes if your dream is to get the healthiest body.
I leave you with the biggest question (in my opinion): What makes you feel one with the Universe/God and reminds you of your abundant worth?
Now, from all the above, take a piece of paper, write in your Notes app or record yourself, set your intentions. Take your time, reflect on how you felt reading the questions and write/record.
Visualize the scene that you are dreaming about and visualize the day to day. Write your intentions; include your emotions and energy you are carrying in this dream.
Be open; do not limit yourself. Daydream and be grateful.
Write the affirmations to help you achieve this dream.
In gratitude,
Shweta
